The company was established specifically to provide a broad range of services and products to support clients in search of new ideas, new products or new approaches. IonVentus was established by an engineer with a creative mind and an artist with logical thoughts. The outcome was innovation - based on art and science!

IonVentus was formed as a result of a merger between Ion Product Development Services (ION-PDS) and Ventus, a Wright State Research Institute spin-off company that was developing Air Force Research Laboratory advanced products. ION-PDS specialized in design, development, and production for the aviation and entertainment industries.

Today, IonVentus provides pioneering products and services to the Consumer Products, Aviation, Entertainment, Military and Defense, Medical, and Security industries. To support these industries, IonVentus conducts a spectrum of services to include research, product development, production, and testing.
